trip unique and very special. Keep showing what true Southern Hospitality
really means. We hope to make #4 trip on Three Moons again in the future. Thanks to Randy, Shelly & Meredith!” The Freemans This was without
exception, the best charter we have had in our 3 vacations with Virgin Island
Sailing. Wow! You should send any and all charters to this
vessel. Randy, Shelly and Meredith went way beyond the call of duty and
were not only extremely fun but gave moonlit cocktail cruises in the dingy
where we anchored, put ice packs on my head to get my fever down when I came
down with a really bad cold (the hot toddy's didn't hurt either), waiting on
us hand and foot, taught one novice how to snorkel, played endless cards and
feed us until we were begging to stop the insanity! There was
absolutely nothing more we could have asked for. In addition, Capt. Randy
has the most wonderful selection of music and movie CD's of anyone I
know. I think I miss having all those "tunes" going day and
night. From the most sedate to the most active, this crew is right
there assessing the personalities and desires and they fulfill them to a
"tee". Seems almost funny now
that I have come home from the BVI each time raving about the food.
These boaters love their competition, cookbooks, etc. and the food has been
very good. On the Three Moons the food is better than I can get in the best restaurant. My
husband and I eat out 7 days a week because of our busy schedules and we feel
we know good food. Shelly serves the best dishes with the most
wonderful presentation and should have her own TV Show! Food will never
be the same -- and lots of her delectable delights were prepared with
"Splenda"! Thank Goodness!!! If there is better on any
boat you have, I would not believe it. I was worried about this
trip…. I had two people who say they get seasick and had never
been on a sailboat (Rouses), the two most energetic and lively couples
(Easons) and the most laid back (Freemans) and couldn't imagine how to bring
all this together and make a terrific charter. I didn't have to worry,
the crew did it all and nothing was slighted. I would recommend this
charter to a President, a star, or a meager person like myself who works hard
to plan and prepare for a vacation like this as they are scarce and I need to
make them more than vacations but long lasting memories. This was truly
a memory. I wish the Three Moons and Virgin Island Sailing

Randy to fetch, Three
Moons by day is her name, Three Moons by night has brought her fame. The fat kid & crew came along,
marching to the beat of their own song, not appearing to be a rowdy bunch,
until the chanting for Randy’s Rum Punch. Soper’s
Hole we did arrive, Painkiller #4 we did survive setting anchor at Jost Van
Dyke, Soggy Dollar, Bocce Ball …What’s
not to like? To
Foxy’s to hang an FDD Shirt, rum all around delivers the hurt, even
Randy looks good in a skirt! To Marina Cay to see Michael Beans, That
old pirates been here forever it seems! At the Baths, Joe’s head he did
bonk, but we soon discovered Kenny could blow conk. We crossed the sand with no shoes
intact, for Mad Dog’s world famous Pina Colada as a matter of fact. Diving the Indians to burn a calorie or
two, because of Shelly’s cooking we’ve all packed on a few! Mack Truck’s party we did try to
crash, only to circle around and show our @!#$! Down 80 feet to the Wreck of the Willy T’s, that son of a gun, two
laps around the Gallant Lady sure was fun! To We couldn’t keep Joe’s head
shake at bay, drinking Woody’s 13 and more, Shelly’s shopping bag
in hand evened the score! Poor Captain Randy has been screwed
this week in a lot of ways, but never on a technicality in all his days. Our cruise has ended much to our dismay,
Randy and Shelly are happy to sail away… Sailing the You went
above and beyond and our time apart will be too long But we
will see you again… mark your calendar for 2010!’ Thank you
so much! Everything was wonderful and we are permanently ruined for any other
vacation. Shelly we’ve eaten a lot of good food in beautiful places;

2007 Hi Shelly, Katy and Randy: I apologize for taking so long to write to you but we came back
late Saturday night and our feet hit the ground running. The work week has
been the exact opposite of the wonderful week we spent with you all. I am not
sure how to tell you how much we enjoyed our experience with you and our
family on Three Moons except to say that it will be one of our
family’s’ and friend’s fondest memories of time
together. We all had a great time and each of us have our own special,
Randy, Shelly, Katie, adventure and bar hoping stories to tell. The meals you prepared Shelly are beyond description, however I do
have you to blame for the extra 5 pounds I brought home that was not in
my carry on, or maybe I did carry it on just in a different package. Your
caring and kindness are a great compliment to your very special talents. Katie, you are very special too. Julia and John especially enjoyed
your company. All your hard work shows in how happy and completely papered
everyone felt. You are a bright young lady that will make a special
contribution to this world we live in someday. Randy, you’re ok too, but for God’s sake learn to
lighten up and have some fun. You know, get out there and play a little, try
water sports as a start or better yet learn to dance. It will relax you so

enjoyed your charter! We would really appreciate it if you would take a
moment to complete this form. Naturally we hope that everything was perfect,
but we also would like to know if there were any (small) problems. All
comments are helpful! When you arrived, your first impression of the yacht was: Outstanding. The boat has been immaculately kept by Captain Randy
and Shelly. It’s obvious that they spend a lot of time caring for the
yacht. What did you think about your accommodation? Cabins, beds, bathrooms: Excellent. Salon, cockpit, deck
space: Beautifully kept and very comfortable. Was the boat kept clean during your charter (your cabins, the
bathrooms/heads, your towels, bedding, the cockpit, the galley)? Fantastic. Nothing ever seemed out of place, beds were made and cabins
cleaned very promptly. Meredith, the first mate, was a real asset to the
crew. Did you miss anything on board? Not a thing. What did you enjoy the most on board? Randy, Shelly and Meredith couldn’t have been more pleasant.
The sailing was delightful, and we stopped and snorkeled at many fabulous
sites. Just sharing good times and conversation with each other and the crew
was delightful. Please describe your Captain (professional/outgoing/friendly
etc.) Randy was the best! Friendly, accommodating, and professional.
Very knowledgeable about the area and
sailing in general. He left us alone when appropriate, and joined in the fun
when we asked. Really seemed dedicated to making sure we had a good time. What do you think about your itinerary, the places and bays you
visited and the activities you have done? Itinerary was great. We saw all the best
places—Foxy’s, the Baths, Willy T’s, Little Dix Bay. Great
snorkeling and beaches; Please describe your chef (professional/outgoing/friendly etc.) All I can say is WOW! Shelly was outstanding. There wasn’t
anything we asked for that she couldn’t make, and always with a smile
and a friendly attitude. She never acted like we were imposing on her. The
meals were the highlight of the trip. Please describe your meals (presentation, quality, quantity) Excellent, excellent, excellent. Every single meal was wonderful.
Way way above our expectations. Do you feel the meals and drinks reflected the requests you made
in your preference sheet? Absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way! Did you receive enough information from us before your trip, was
the description of the yacht and crew accurate? Yes. Very helpful. Would you sail with us again? Yes. Any other notes or special remarks you have: One very nice touch was a personal phone call from Randy about
three days before we sailed. Since we had never done this type of trip
before, this really raised our comfort level to know we were dealing with a
real person who cared about whether our trip would be enjoyable. |
